CAG Software is the developer, producer and sole distributor of Compute-a-Grade and Compute-a-Grade Plus used in landforming design for flood irrigation layouts.

Landforming is a process of applying a man-made slope on land to be used for irrigation. It is the most cost-effective way to conserve resources of water, fertilizer, fuel, chemicals and man-hours while treating the soil with care. It greatly increases crop yields by eliminating areas that are too high to water or too low to drain.

Compute-a-Grade is the most widely used landforming design program in Australia. The program makes the earthworks calculations and enables the design of paddocks, channels, drains, dams and whole farm layouts to be carried out quickly and accurately.

Compute-a-Grade Plus adds an interface to AutoCAD via a DXF file. This enables designs for whole farms to be printed or plotted.

Future Developments Keep an eye on this site for the release of the Windows version of Compute-a-Grade. CAG Software is also developing a cheque writing program using standard bank cheques - no special forms required. A program for recording grain in and out of farm storage is also being developed.
